Modernism in Cambrils and Reus: An essential route along the Costa Dorada

Did you know that Reus is the city with the second largest Modernist heritage in Catalonia after Barcelona? And that just a few minutes away, in Cambrils, you can discover a hidden gem with gardens and unique architecture?

In this guide, we tell you about the best of Modernism in Cambrils and Reus so that you can enjoy a trip full of art, history and nature.

Cambrils – A modernist tasting at Parc Samà

In the heart of the Costa Dorada, we find Parc Samà, a hidden gem that brings together more than 1,500 species of flora and fauna, modernist architecture and the charm of colonial Cuba. It was designed between 1881 and 1887 by Francesc de Paula del Villar, in collaboration with Josep Fontserè (a collaborator of Gaudí) as a summer residence for the Samà family, Marquises of Marianao.
